The
magic of jazz music comes from spontanaeity and interaction between
musicians communicating together. This is a very important aspect
in my work. It is nice to know that one written piece can be approached
completely differently every time it is played.
The
use of orchestral instruments, less widely found in more traditional
forms of jazz music, can be used to create rich and colourful textures
within a piece of music.
